Time4 Registrations

At The Gap State High School, we believe in ‘Learners Who Flourish’. We value Thinking Big, Stepping Up, Paying it Forward and Being Kind. We are committed to developing young people to achieve their potential intellectually, personally and socially; we love learning, knowledge and curiosity. We would, therefore, like to
invite students to engage in our Time4 Students program on Monday afternoons to further develop their own love of learning, knowledge and curiosity. Time4 Student Program runs each Term in Weeks 2 to 9 and is held on Mondays from 1:50pm to 3:00pm.

Each Term, we offer learning experiences for students to engage in that are provided by both internal and external organisations; some of our programs are even be run by our amazing Launch students. The places in the program activities held at school are limited and there are fees to participate in most programs to cover the costs of providers. Our online programs are self-paced and can be completed in conjunction or separate to the programs run at school.

Changes to Bus Route

Message from Brisbane City Council:

In 2025, Brisbane will experience the largest uplift to our bus network in over a decade.

The new network, called Brisbane’s New Bus Network and complemented by Brisbane Metro, will improve reliability and increase capacity to get you where you need to go, at the times you want to travel. These changes will be made in stages to support you and your students in navigating the new network.

On 28 January, we will be rolling out Brisbane Metro on the M2 route (previously known as Route 66) from UQ Lakes to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. M2 services will not stop at Dutton Park Place. Customers wishing to travel to Dutton Park Place will need to transfer to a different service.

This stage will also implement changes to some urban and district services, prioritising student connection to schools and universities in time for the new year. School factsheet - The Gap State High School - November 2024.pdf
