Congratulations to Brody McLeod, who has achieved remarkable success over the past few months in futsal.
Brody represented Met North as goalkeeper at the Australian Youth Futsal Championships in Coomera on the Gold Coast, where the team secured a bronze medal. His exceptional performance led to his selection for the U15/16 Queensland Merit Team, which will compete in Cairns.
Building on this success, Brody also represented Queensland North Coast at the National Schools Futsal Championships, where he showcased outstanding skill and sportsmanship. His impressive performances have earned him an invitation to represent Australia at the Costa Blanca Futsal Tournament in Spain in July 2026.
Brody’s journey reflects not only his talent and hard work but also the values of dedication, perseverance, and excellence that define The Gap State High School. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and look forward to seeing him continue to excel on the international stage.
