Our School Master Plan
The Gap State High School and P&C Association are proud to share our vision through a Concept Master Plan as we work towards future growth, renewal and infrastructure development.
The Master plan for the Gap State High School aims to meet the medium to long-term (10-year) needs of the School and the community while respecting the natural environment and supporting their goal to become carbon neutral by 2032.
Master Planning Priorities
The Master Planning priorities identified to align with growth and renewal are as follows:
- Industrial Technology Building (T Block)
- Administration Building (A Block)
- School amenities
- Existing Home Economics kitchens
- Improvements to Performing Arts – J.A. Robertson Hall
- Identifiable entry, with several points of access from Waterworks Road frontage
- Increased on-site car parking and better bus and student set-down provision are priorities. A reduction of the speed limit to 40km/hr “school safety zone” along Waterworks Road frontage is an ongoing campaign of the School Community
