Launch Plus is a selection of afterschool student led STEAM workshops. These workshops are designed by students for students. Each workshop aims to inspire participants to become a STEAM creators and marker. No matter if you are into music, drones, robotics, vinyl art, Computer Aided Design, electronics or rockets, there is a workshop for you. Drone: Fly and Coding Challenge
* Recommended for Year 5 to 12
The Challenge:
An emergency call has been received by the SES centre. A sailor venturing across the ocean from Port Lincoln in Western Australia to Corny Point on the edge of Adelaide is suffering severe heat stroke and is urgently required medical attention. Being half way across to his destination and on the brink of unconsciousness, using the seas to rescue the sailor’s is risky in the choppy and rocky environment. You and your team will need to deploy your drone and flying skilfully to deliver medical supplies as close as possible to the sailor.
Program Details:
Held every Thursday during Term 2.
Time: Every Thursday 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Python Coding
* Recommended for Year 5 to 12
The Launch Team is excited to announce their first Python coding challenge.

Jr. Engineering Crane Challenge
* Recommended for Year 3 to 12 (Adults welcome and required for Year 3 and 4 students)
