Student Leadership plays an important role in our school community and living our values, Thinking BIG, Stepping UP, Paying it FORWARD and Being KIND.
The Student Leadership Program complements the school's academic curriculum and equips students for a seemingly ever-changing world by delivering a holistic educational experience. It aims to develop student's potential for life success while developing personal and social competencies and leadership skills.
The Gap State High School has a very active student leadership team comprising of:
- 4 Senior School Captains
- 4 Junior School Captains
- 8 Senior House Captains
- 8 Junior House Captains
All leadership positions are from July to June each calendar year.
