Every new student enrolment at The Gap State High School involves parents making an application for enrolment by completing the Enrolment Application Form and attending an interview with the Guidance Officer or other delegated member.
Future Year 7 students for the following year attend an interview with either our Guidance Officer, Deputy Principal or Principal accompanied by their parent/s.
The following documents are required to be submitted with all Enrolment Applications:
Student's birth certificate.
Student's passport and relevant visa if coming from overseas.
Student's most recent two school reports.
Latest NAPLAN results.

Because of the increasing number of students at The Gap State High School an enrolment management plan was introduced at the beginning of 2009.
If you live out of our catchment area and wish to apply you must complete an Out of Catchment Enrolment Form.
The Gap State High School works very closely with nine cluster schools which are Ashgrove, Bardon, Hilder Road, Ithaca Creek, Mt Nebo, Oakleigh, Payne Road, Rainworth and The Gap State Schools. Students attending these cluster schools are kept well informed in regard to high school activities and programs and many students have the opportunity to participate in special enrichment programs and early access programs.
