Camps work with the APPs curriculum and allow students the opportunity to use the development skills they have been learning in class.
Term 4
Year 10 Camp
Where: Emu Gully
Emu Gully is located near Helidon - 15 km east of Toowoomba.
When: Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October 2026 (Week 2, Term 4)
Focus: Taking responsibility for your actions and how they impact your
community.
The Year 10 camp will be held during the second week of Term 4 at Emu Gully, an outdoor education centre that is run with an ANZAC theme. The camp is a leadership and team building program based on the character values of courage, mateship, sacrifice and perseverance. The activities provide opportunities to experience and demonstrate these values.
Additional Timing Information:
Mon 12 October - Roll Class & Load buses 7:00am / Depart school 7:30am
Thu 15 October - Arrive back at school 14:00pm
Year 10 Camp permission forms must be submitted and payment received by Monday 14 September. Hard copy forms can be returned to the office or a scanned copy of the forms (no photos) can be emailed to: year10camp@thegapshs.eq.edu.au.
