Student Resource Scheme (SRS)
The Gap State High School operates a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) to provide parents with a cost-effective alternative to purchasing textbooks and/or resources independently. Through bulk purchasing and resource‑hire arrangements, the scheme ensures students have access to the required materials to fully engage in their learning, while saving families both time and money.
Invoices
Invoices for the SRS Part A fee have been issued to parents and caregivers for 2026.
Thank you to the many families who have already made payment. Feasibility of this cost-effective scheme relies on the timely payment of fees, as unpaid invoices impact the school's ability to provide essential resources to all students.
Invoices for elective subject fees, SRS Part B, C and D, will be issued in February 2026 when student timetables are finalised.
Account statements are emailed to parents regularly -- if you have any queries or require clarification please contact our accounts receivable team at accountsreceivable@thegapshs.eq.edu.au
Participation in the scheme is voluntary, however it is a proven cost-effective way for families to provide resources for students to study in the curriculum. If you elect not to join the scheme, you will need to provide all necessary textbooks, resources and materials for your child to engage with the curriculum.
The SRS is reviewed annually to ensure resources are applicable to the current subject offerings across the year levels and to ensure we have accurate pricing (may be subject to price changes). The proposed SRS for the upcoming year is provided to the P&C Association and tabled for discussion.
Payment information and our refund policy can be found in documents.
