We are excited to announce the return of the Launch Pulse Conference – a full-day, student-led STEAM event hosted by The Gap State High School on Friday, 5 September 2025.

Theme: Innovation in Health & Recreation
This year’s conference focuses on reimagining personal and community wellbeing through the lens of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.

Who’s it for?
The conference is designed for Year 5 and 6 students, aiming to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity in addressing real-world challenges related to health and recreation.

What to Expect:

  • Keynote Presentation – Hear from a leading industry professional in health and recreation.

  • Interactive Workshops – Choose 3 from 17 engaging sessions, including parachute design, drone technology, computer-aided design, and more.

  • STEAM Design Challenge – Compete for exciting prizes while solving real-world problems.

  • Hands-On Activities – Explore innovative ideas that blend technology, creativity, movement, and wellbeing.

  • Collaboration Opportunities – Work alongside peers to innovate, design, and create solutions for healthier communities.

Whether it’s developing apps for mindfulness, designing inclusive community spaces, or exploring cutting-edge digital fitness tools, students will apply their STEAM skills to create meaningful change.
