Our Sustainable School

The Gap State High School is making significant strides towards environmental sustainability, aligning with the ambitious goals outlined in our 2022-2025 Strategic Plan. As part of our focus on environment and sustainability under Priority Area 3, the school is setting a new standard for how educational institutions can integrate eco-friendly practices into their daily operations and curriculum.

  • Tuckshop – bio degrable materials for packaging, composting weekly of food scraps
  • Uniform shop – repurpose clothing to Upparell that turn clothes into mattresses
