Student Resource Scheme

The Student Resource Scheme has been implemented in The Gap State High School to ensure that all students have the necessary resources to support their educational requirements. It is also intended as a convenience to parents/caregivers to provide a more economical option to purchasing new textbooks, resources and consumables each year. Contribution to the scheme is voluntary. Joining the Student Resource Scheme is a cost effective way for families to provide resources for curriculum studies.

Should you decide not to participate in the Student Resource Scheme, a payment will be forwarded to you for monies received from the Government. The Government rate in 2017 for Year 7 - 10 is $123 per student per annum; Year 11-12 is $266 per student per annum.  Non-participants are required to provide all resources for students - a list of non-participation charges, details of the additional subject fees and proposed textbooks can be found in the relevant links on this page of non-participation charges.  If you agree to participate in the scheme and decide at a later stage that you wish to withdraw your participation, please provide this information in writing to the school.
